A Unified Voice.

A Statewide Force.

Representing Black Voters & Families Across Virginia.

The Virginia Coalition of Black Voters is building a cohesive, well-organized political bloc to champion the interests of Black voters and families from the Eastern Shore to the Cumberland Gap.

OUR MISSION

Rooted In Historic Traditions & Legacy.
Built For This Moment & A Better Tomorrow
.

For too long, the full power of the Black vote in Virginia has gone unrealized, too often taken for granted or fragmented. With your help, we are changing that.

We are building a modern, statewide organization committed to strengthening Black civic engagement, uniting our collective voice, and advancing representation that truly reflects the strength of our communities.

Virginia Coalition of Black Voters is more than an organization — we represent opportunities for statewide political advocacy and mobilization. We bridge the gap between election cycles, ensuring our communities are registered, educated, and actively advocating for the issues that matter most:
equitable education, economic justice, healthcare access, and criminal justice reform.

With active chapters in every major city and county across the Commonwealth, we are transforming frustration into political power. This is the home of Virginia’s Black voting bloc.
